Participating study programmes

The University of Tokyo is open to all study programmes, provided that the university offers a programme equivalent to ETH's.

The department of architecture is not participating in the exchange with the School of Frontier Sciences.

Duration and type of exchange

• 1 – 2 semesters of study (courses)

Prerequisites

• From 1st year of Master's degree studies
• Average grades of at least 4.5
• Good knowledge of English

Additional application documents

The student exchange office will send out information on additional application documents required by the partner university after the allocation of the exchange places has been done.

You must have an academic advisor at the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Frontier Science and indicate his/her name in your application, regardless of whether you will (a) attend courses or (b) conduct research at the University of Tokyo.
